Strength – Hip Flexor Repeats

Set and Reps:

  • 10 reps 5 rounds
  • 2 sets

Main Focus:

  • You’re working to recreate the load of advancing a your ski or splitboard up the slope while skinning.
  • Try and isolate your hip flexors and maintain a neutral lower back and pelvis.

Modifications:

  • Add load to you leg with a heavy boot, or an ankle weight
  • Add a balance challenge by stepping up on a less stable surface like a bosu ball or a foam pad
